Any thoughts on the Korg Padkontrol

not bad, just don't pay $200 for one...
you can find the mpd 16 for 100 if u don't need the x-y pad or lots of sliders

I sold my MPD16 to get the padkontrol and have no regrets. The MPD16 is great, don't get me wrong, but i'm a fan of ribbon controllers and was time for a change anyways.

Some extras to the basic mpd16 (which has one fader), is the two assignable knobs, xy pad, roll, hold, flam, 1x1 midi interface, input for foot pedal...
