    havin trouble...

i have my mpk49's midi out plugged into the midi in of my mpc.

i'm getting sounds but i have to hit the keys everywhere on the mpk to get the sounds from bank "a" on the mpc.
(example: hitting pad 1 on the mpc, i have to hit the "a"key on the mpk.)
(example: hitting pad 2 on the mpc, i have to hit the "c"key on the mpk.)

i tried resetting the pad bank from "mode- pad9 midi/sync- note -f6 reset"

    please help. thank you.

The pads on the MPC are assigned in a random pattern, not chromatically by MIDI number. Go back into the Note screen and reassign the pads MIDI numbers, starting at 36, which is the C two octaves below Middle C (which is where most, if not all, 25, 49, and 61 key controllers start in its default octave position), and work your way up the with every pad.
