first fantom workstation vs fantom xr rack for sound module.

Deciding on a first gen fantom 76 key for 530 or a fantom xr rack for 650 for a hardware setup, fixing on using the mpc ren with this setup when it drops. The rack has 6 expansion slots and the worstation has 4 so looks like the rack is more upgrad able but my focus is sequencing everything together and not sure the racks multi mode is good for this or even fast patch browsing. i use to have the fantom x and know the xr rack is the same engine but how does the first fantom compare? Floppy does suck but ive delt wit it before and there wont alot of floppy ejecting since i Will just have saved sequences on it and nothin else. What looks like a better buy

the keyboards are usually much easier to use than the boards
