    as far as I know...no, it only works with the ESi series samplers. The E series has a different OS than the ESi's. Sound Forge or ReCycle will probably be good to look into. You can send samples back and forth between your sampler and your computer with those.

    That means that I can connect a E5000 directly to a PC thru the SCSI port with no hassle...hmm....what if I want to use the E5000 with a CD-ROM and a ZIP....Can I make a "chain" and still connect the sampler to the PC?

    yup, you can do that.

    I think you'll have to change something in the sampler though. In the ESi, there is a thing you have to do where you set it to "ignore host on SCSI ID x" this is because both the sampler and PC want to be seen as the "main" or "top" SCSI device, so this basically sets the sampler as the top device in the chain. But I don't know if that's the same in the E series.. how to set it up to connect to your PC should be in your manual.
