    Electribe ES-1 question

I've only had this machine a few days but I'm having a problem I can't seem to see a way round - often, I have a sample assigned to a part and it seems pretty loud when the part key is pressed, but when it's programmed into the sequence it's so quiet that you have to use the accent to make it audible. Of course, after you've done this on every step of the pattern then the accent loses all meaning - and besides which, it's just the wrong way to fix the problem. Can anyone help?
This little hiccup aside, I love the thing - it's nice to be able to work away from the "big setup" and try out ideas quickly.

    hmm

    assuming you´ve normalized your samples,
i only can guess if you have:

    a.) filter on your sample
    b.) level down?
    c.) motion sequence w/filter/level settings
    no brain no pain

No filtering, normalised samples, and part volume turned all the way up. I've not used the motion sequencing at all yet.

Found the problem - the accent part for the pattern was turned all the way off. Thanks for the pointers!
