Yea this is prolly a dumb question to most of yall, but, on an average Mpc, what can u do?....
All I kno is that it can sample things.
but like what else does it do?
is it better then software, like Fl studio, or cool edit pro?

an mpc provides you with a sampler(to sample sounds), a sequencer(to arrange playback of sampled sounds) and a dedicated interface(user controls, pads etc).Originally Posted by Gwilikerz
You could probably put MPC into you tube or watch some mano videos to get a better idea.

and u should know that it isnt gonna make your tracks sound better. its just a matter of preference. u can bang on pads or u can click ur mouse. its all on u. just dont think its gonna change your quality.
i have a mpc and 2 keyboards but it doesnt sound better than my fruityloop beats becuz i know what im doin. they sound exactly the same. its not what u use but how u use it.
just think of it this way, u can either have fun bangin out the mpc or u can make a beat much faster using reason or fruity which isnt as fun. both can sound the same tho.
so in conclusion, it is not any better than software.
