I just traded my MPC2000XL for a MPC2500.Now most of my MPC2000 / MPC2000XL drum kits PGM will not load, I keep getting a "NO FILE FOUND". i tried using BlueBox ( mpc pgm editor ) to recreate the PGMs / kits burned it to a CD-R , still the same message. All the waves files I use to recreate the pgm / kits are 16 bit 44.1. Can someone with a MPC2500 help

Size mostly man. They are really the same machine in smaller and larger packages. Theres a few more knobs on the 2500, a numeric keypad, and thats pretty much it. THe screen on the 2500 flips up so you don't have to look down on it, but i mounted mine with a mixer stand, so thats not a problem for me with the 1000. They both have 128 ram possibility, hard drive update, and jj os. Either one is a good machine.
One last thing, people claim the pads are better on the 2500....i don't ahve any problems with my pads...
