    Any Old Keyboard?

    Could I Use just any old keyboard that i would buy ,at best buy for instance, or do i need one specifically for Midi???

    any keyboard with midi out will work. But not every keyboard with midi out will let you control all kinds of midi parameters to transmit thru Midi out.

    Depends on what your purpose for it is. If just controlling then it does need to have MIDI I/O. But if you want to use its sounds then I wouldnt say get a cheap keyboard cause those are usually NOT multitimbral.

    Yeah, it depends on your use. If you don't mind casio sounds and don't plan to use it as a controller, sure, just buy any keyboard. If you need a controller as well, make sure it has a midi I/O. If you just need a controller, then buy a controller, it's going to be easier to deal with in terms of size and will have extra features for less or the same amount of money.
