Akai MPK25 Keyboard USB MIDI Controller

Here's the scoop, I'm constructing a production center on a budget. I have limited myself to 1025. I already have Ableton 6 (might upgrade) and Dimensions Pro form cakewalk (Software is legit bought it before I left the scene). So that just leaves the hardware.

I decided on the Akai MPK25 Keyboard USB MIDI Controller because of the pads and the MPC functions it has like note repeat. Does anyone else have this controller? and does it have good presets?... personally I don't feel like I need all those knobs.. Anybody have any experience with this? Does anyone have any alternative suggestions?

why not get the microsampler? you can take it with you on the road & use it with the computer

I need a midi controller not a sampler.
