Akai MPC 2000 MCD vs MPC 2000xl

can anyone specify for me the difference between the mpc 2000xl and now i see on the market an MPC 2000 MCD xl going for $1699.99, what does it have that the regular 2000xl doesnt?

The Only real difference is that it has a smart media reader

BUT, you need the NEW OS, which cost alot of$$$$$$, only place you can get it is ebay, jahrome sells it

The MCD is way over priced. You can get similar models from www.vstservice.com. Ask for Dave and tell him Jerome sent you. You may not get a discount but I may next time I need my MPC repaired

You can also do it yourself if you have some skills with installing drives in your computer.
