Are Samson studio monitors any good?

So I am getting my feet wet in the whole recording process and needed studio monitors. As a poor college student my budget is fairly small for the monitors. And as I said, I am a total beginner and just experimenting around recording my vocals and making cover songs and such. Sam Ash is having an in-store deal on some monitors and I'm looking at the Samson Studio GT with usb audio interface on sale for $120 and the Samson Mediaone 5a on sale for $160. These are in-store deals so I have to physically go in an buy them. Are they good enough and if so which ones should I go for? Any other suggestions?

Yep. I like the sound of Resolve's heard from a few different places. I might purchase those next, if I have a reason to get rid of my current monitoring system.
