I needed some monitors badly here at home so i bought a set of Sampson Resolv A6's and a Focusrite Saffire 6 and i am very impressed with both.. I couldn't see justifying spending more $$ for more inputs or better mic pre's because i won't be doing much recording here so i went for the Saffire. My Latency is at 6.1 in and 7.4 (something like that) out..

Very easy to install, had it up and running in 20 minutes on a PC, windows 7 - 64bit, working lovely with Cubase... I guess now its time to start putting it through the ringer

Good to here you like the set up so far. I'm using my Focusrite Saffire 6 USB with KRK rokit 5's, and couldn't be more impressed with the saffire 6 especially for the price. Let me know how everything turns out.

On day 5 here.. Loving the sound quality and ease of use. haven't had any problems yet and ive been working on tunes non stop since i hooked it up, not a single pop or glitch, very low latency. For $175, this is hands down one of the best ive ever used. Drivers are VERY stable, nothing has crashed or even acted like it's going to crash. Was using a DigiRack 002 and to be honest, this is giving me the same sound...

Only downfall is, i am still trying to find a way to record internal (or computer sounds output) audio, i know the pro 24 has the loopback option which can be setup in Mix Control but the saffire 6 can not use Mix Control as it is for firewire only. So if i can figure out how to record from within my PC i would have 0 complaints..

Oh and the Mic Pres are pretty dam solid to for a $200 box...
