Maschine is faster and has plugin better plugin integration (company also makes Komplete).

While Akai has been a pioneer in the MPC, its new to consumer software (they don't even make their own editors). It does nothing that Mascine can't do, in fact a lot less because 3rd part programs are exist and are welcome to fill gaps of effects in Maschine. Time stretch is announced for 1.8...clearly they are aiming at any strong points of the MPC line and have a head-start on the software.

lmao I got an MPC 1000 and I wish I would have got a maschine. It's much more compatible with my workflow. But It depends what you want to do. MPC's are tight. I hook instruments up to mine and make my own riffs. If you want to sequence like that then get an MPC. Just remember its how you want to make music.

    Nuff said.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.
