This is an audio interface which i found cheap but a lot of people told me it is a really good one for home studios, but after some youtube checking i saw that there are some guitar pictures on the box and no mic on that pic, so the question is:
Is this audio interface a good option for vocals recording??

And also, do i need an other interface to record with this? i mean, i saw a video of a guy who connects some kind of mini console to it, here's the vid:

Well, it's a cheap interface - not anything I'd call "really good" but decent enough. There's a mic preamp in it, but for some reason - unlike most interfaces with built-in preamps - it doesn't supply phantom power to the mic, so you can only use dynamic (or self-powered) mics with it straight away. The "mini console" in the video is simply a phantom power source for the condenser mic.

    re

actually lexicon made many of the best time based effects of all time, but their audio interfaces are a different story. I havent used that one, but some of the previous ones were as bad as at it gets. I dont think they even really make it, it is subbed to a low end asian OEM company. for that price range I would get something else.

^Yep. The Alpha/Lambda/Omega range is getting a bit old at this point and never was exactly stellar to begin with. The I·O range seems decent enough, but was plagued by driver problems at least in the beginning...dunno about the current state of things. But saying "anything Lexicon is gonna blow" is either hugely ignorant or...well, I can't really think of anything else. Most of their products are pretty great.

To be honest I wasnt trying to generalize Lexicon, I was talking about there audio interfaces since that was the topic. Im sure they make products that are still good and relevant, My first audio interface was actually a Lexicon so I guess I owe them that for getting me started in music production lol.
