    KRK Rokit 5, quarter inch jack (?), low sounding white noise/hiss sound

    title says it all. I have it running on an extension chord but I've switched it so that each one was running separate outlets and still had this problem.

    the white noise isn't crazy loud but it's a little annoying. what should i do?, to stop it...

    try a new cord. did you get that one in a package deal? the cords in those are usually shotty IMO

    Disconnect each other electronic device in your house one-by-one until the hiss goes away. Then, get one of these for whichever device is the offender:

    the hiss is normal, nothing you can do bc its coming from the amp in side your monitors...no way around it...if you want it to stop buy passive monitors
