My friend was renovating his studio and gave me this old mixing desk, it seems to be in full working order and (other than a bit of dust) good as new.
I've been looking at the manuals for the device, and I understand how to operate the machine. What I'd like to ask the forum is in what ways it can be incorporated into my setup?
I'm currently recording internally on my laptop, using Ableton with some controllers. Very simple setup.
I understand I could record samples and instruments in through the desk but I don't know if it will be compatible with the audio setup on the laptop?
