Has anyone had this issue and came up with a solution? thank you for the help.

You don't have to change any settings on the Fantom. Just enable Keyboard switch for internal track 1 and external track one on your Fantom. In PT by default tracks receive midi from all channels all devices.
I saw a girl texting & driving the other day & it really made me mad, so I rolled down my window & threw my whiskey flask at her.

Have u tryed connecting via midi USB. You won't have to do any of this at all. Make sure USB is connected and make sure pro tools detects the fantom in midi controllers. Then all I do is hit pad mode hit pad 10 to enable midi then hit pad 1. Every new track I open just enable record and it plays that instrument. Hope this helps. Take it you own the g6
