I have a Hp Pavilion Slimline with Reason 5.0,fl studio 10,and pro tools 9. I have no External hard drive so i worry about losing projects also all these programs slow down my pc. What i would like to do is buy a External Hard drive and a Macbook so i can record with a duet 2 on the mac but make my instrumentals on pc but save both on the same external hard drive. Will this be able to be done without any complications?

The same way you're going to make a beat in FL or Reason and fly the audio to a Mac and into Protools can just be done on your PC. I fail to see the logic in what you're trying to do here.

^^^Agreed. I'd just update PCs and be done with it all. Alot cheaper than going the Macbook route as well.
Two things that annoy me are people who are positive out of ignorance, and people who are negative out of bitterness. People who are neither usually get along with me and agree with most of what I say. People who are one of the 2 think I'm the other.
