Tascam US-428 and Windows 7

Okay I just got a new Dell laptop with Windows 7, now there's a driver for Vista,do I need to buy a copy of Vista?? to run this??
Now my wife has Dell laptop with Vista on it I wonder if I can use her Vista disc and install it on my laptop along side Windows 7???

Seems like you can get the Vista drivers up & running in Win7 by manually installing them (instead of the Tascam installer)...see this thread.

thanks Krushing I was on this page before but didn't even notice there was a a discussion thread below lol

compaitbily mode in Window 7 seems to be the key with shutting down the Tascam US-428 after you get done making an instrumental,tracking,mixing,etc..
