Rewire, Korg Nano Pad, Reason and Live - HELP!!

Okay so I do sample based music production so the sample provides the bulk of the song, but I like the sounds you can get from reason with the NNXT sampler and the Thor synth. I've tried to rewire reason with live which works fine apart from the fact that when I do this Reason can no longer communicate with my Korg Nano Pad i.e. i cannot send midi data to reason which makes rewiring completely pointless because I not trying to mess with audio here.

Would really appreciate help on this, Reason says something along the lines of the midi port is already in use (obviously by Live) but then that defies the point of rewire surely? I am also using the Emu 0404 usb which may have something to do with it.

Just want to be able to use the nanoPad with reason and Live in rewire mode.

You could route the MIDI through Live into Reason - just create a MIDI track & route its output into Reason.

thanks that helps I created a midi track outputting midi to reason and a audio track receiving the audio from reason yes? works but getting more latency tho...
