For some reason anytime i switch to asio4all no sound comes out anymore. when i try to play a track or hit any key on my keyboard, reason shows it is being trigeered but no sound comes. But as soon as i switch it back to the default sound driver it starts to work again. I dont know what is wrong and i cant use the default driver cos there is some latency when you hit the keys.

    1) invest in a decent audio interface. Cop something like an Audiophile 2496 or even a Fast Track USB off of Ebay.

    2) Install said audio interface and use the manufacturer's ASIO driver.

    3) Continue making music.

Have you activated your soundcard in Asio4All's control panel? Might be on by default, but worth checking...

I had his problem a while back, myself. What I did to solve the problem was to disable the HD Audio HDMI out and the HD Audio SPDIF out, in the advanced options menu at the ASIO Panel.

Make sure no other programs that are using audio are on.

Most programs like to 'Steal' the asio driver and you can usually only use asio with 1 program at a time.

yea i noticed that too. So what i did was to completely uninstall the audio driver and then reinstall it. So now it works but the moment i leave the reason interface the sound goes off...when i come back on it the sound comes on again. it never did that before but oh well... you cant expect everything to work as you wish.
