Logic Pro 8 vs Logic pro 9 (Logic Studio)

This is a simple question. Is logic pro 9 worth upgrading from 8? I could not find a comparison list on the apple site. I did read some info on how you can use Logic 9 live (like Abelton). But, I could not find a demo on it.

If someone is using Logic Pro 9, I would appreciate your feedback on it?

    Thanks

I'd be very interested in this also. I just purchased an entire setup based on Logic 8 & not even 30 days later Logic 9 is released, but I couldn't swap mines out sinced I opened it. I'm debating on where it's worth the additional $200 or should I master 8 first & then sell some beats to get 9 down the road.

Well, nothing is ever perfect out the gate. I'm not saying there are any problems, but you never know. There could be a couple of bugs that may screw you up. I would just wait.

With that in mind, I'll work to master 8 then make the transition to 9. Does anyone know if there is very much of a learning curve when making the transition over to 9. I don't want to spend all my time learning 8 if I'll have to spend the same amount of time learning the new system when I upgrade to 9.

I went from 8 to 9 and I could hardly see any difference. So, you will not have a learning curve issue at all. Both user interfaces look identical!
