Hello guys... Sorry for my english if it's bad
I have several questions and hope to find right answers here.
So...I'm beginner in studio productions. I'm working with Cubase.
I have Presonus Audiobox interface, and all that works just fine for me for now.
When I'm in studio work i do not record much live stuff like drums, just guitars, vox and keyboards. I'm keyboardist in pop genre.
But my desktop computer isn't so great and i wish to buy another one, but i wish to buy laptop, because i want to play vsti's (some Kontakt libraries, Nexus, Massive etc) live on stage with my band, and in my future studio. I already have Korg Pa3x as my main keyboard, so that vsti's would be just a step forward, because I really like some of them.
The question is, Which Laptop?
I don't have enough money for Macbook Pro, so i'm looking for some PCs that hopefully will work the job. Is that possible?
I live in Serbia, and last night i was watching Dell Inspirion 5537.
Here are the specs:
Intel Core i7-4500U 1.8GHz (turbo do 3GHz, 4MB cache, 22nm, 15W)
8GB (4GB + 4GB) DDR3L 1600MHz SDRAM, 2 x SODIMM socket (max 16GB)
1TB SATA 5400rpm
AMD Radeon HD 8670M 2GB DDR3
4x USB 3.0, HDMI, RJ-45, 3.5mm phones, 3.5 mm mic.
It costs around 650 euros here.
Will this do the job for me??? Do I need to do some upgrades if I buy it?
Thanks a lot, and sorry for so big post.
Cheers!
