    What's up FP!

Just got a quick question for you all. I did a search and couldn't really come up with much info.

    Okay...

I have the MBox2 running on a DELL Inspiron 600m. My father and I plan on openning a studio here in town because the closest ones that anyone around here could go to are between 2 and 4 hours away!!! (aside from your basic bedroom/basement set-ups which is what i have now, with vocal booth in closet.) Now, I know when we get all of our money together and find the building we want to use( looking at two right now) I am DEFINATELY not going to use my laptop(DELL) as the main computer. I would really like to get a MAC. So, here is my question:

Is there a way to transfer my PT sessions from PC to MAC? I really want to know this because i have other artists's sessions on the DELL besides my own. For me, Starting over from scratch wouldn't be that bad because i just love to record, but for other people that would really suck-- seeing as how we put soooo much work into the session to get it 'just right!'

I also noticed when opening a new session, at the bottom of the dialog box there is a check box that says: 'Enforce PC and MAC compatability.' Does that mean what i hope t means and how do i get the sessions onto a MAC if possible.

*Pheww* that was longer than i had anticipated....Thanx for any help of tips! God Bess!!!

Your best bet is if you used PCM-WAV audio format. If you started on PC, I'm guessing that's what you did. Just transfer your entire session folder either via network or via CD/DVD (network will probably take you less time).

I don't know about other audio formats, but I have both a PC and a Mac and have transferred WAV projects successfully.
