    Hi

ive just got a new panasonic laptop, 30g hard drive pebtium 4 - when i loaded fruity loops onit, it said 'none' under midi settings, where on my cpu, it gives an option.

does this mean i wont be allowed to use midi?

i havent got a clue how to use midi on fruity loops but i need to start.

any help will be much appreciated

If you don't have a midi controller keyboard or an external sound module then you don't need to worry about that.

If the setting says "none" and you haven't tried to chance it, try changing the setting from none to MPU 410 if it really bugs you.

If you have an audio device with a joystick port, then the input and output could be set to mpu 401 if you don't want it to read "none".
