    Analog to Digital Adat optical

    I have a couple of old Fostex boxes that conver 8 to 8 analog to digital and either way big I need a few more and they don't make the one I have anymore. Ant suggestions?

    Mainly I want to convert Analog to Digital but Digital to Analog is a nice added feature...

    Ant suggestions? Adam Ant used to be pretty tight back in the day!


    Anyway, what Fostex boxes are they exactly?

    Fostex VC-8

    There little boxes are the business...

    Funny you mention Adam Ant, Ant Rap was the first Album I ever purchased... Back in 79 or 80 when I used to live in England. My dad was in the Air Force...

    Haha, cool. Anyway - I've never heard of that particular Fostex model, but seems like these are going around even in these necks of the woods (which means that they have to be at least somewhat popular) for pretty cheap - from 100 to 150 euros, which'd mean you can probably grab 2nd hand versions for a lot less than $200.
