Hey guys, I'm selling because I'm completely frustrated with making music on computers. If it's your thing then this is a Amazing workstation to work with. GREAT! sounds.
I come from working on a MPC3000 and SP1200. I can work with my eyes closed. I have an arsenal of analog equipment like minimoog, SE-1X, TR-808, and for some reason I thought I would gain by keeping up with this technology. But in reality it has slowed me down. With my old set up I was able to make a HOT track in 1 hour complete ready to bounce to record into pro tools for mixing.

Everyone has their taste and ways to create. Computer sequencing is not mine. I HATE IT! I can honestly say that now. I tried it and I will never go back to it. I've been making music for 20 years.

Note: the most frustrating part of it all for me was the quantizing and hitting way to many buttons and screens to get things done. Open Labs tech support is great! they really try to help. But not for me.

There is really nothing like the feel of a SP1200 and MPC3000.

As the old saying goes if it isn't broken then why try to fix it.

I already purchased my SP1200 and buying my MPC3000 tomorrow.

Please remember everyone has their own personal preference and style of creation. I tried working with an MPC4000 in the past as well and didn't like it.

It all comes down to being able to comfortably deliver your expression, feeling, vibe that makes your head bang until it almost falls off. Knowing that when the lyricist catches onto your beat he won't let go and will only add the extra spice needed in the creation of the banger.

Cheers!
