Akai MPD 18/26/32 Responses?

Hi, I was wondering in terms of the responsiveness of the MPDs 18/26/32 if there are any differences at all?

I don't believe there's really a difference amongst the older Akai MPD series -- they all feel the same to me, and there's no technical reason they should be noticeably different.

However, the newer Akai MPX8, MPX16, and the MPK 2-series all use a new type of pad that's drastically more sensitive.

Its a shame they swithed the design on the pads. The oldschool grey mpc-style pad where badass these new spaceship pads look wack
