What effects are used on this synth?

Kind of sounds like putting a random-wave LFO on the filter cutoff...might also be that it is being triggered by some other sound, but it's hard to hear.
 
I tried a square wave with high attack and a low pass filter with the cutoff automated but it still didn't sound quite right.
