Vst's with cubase 7.5

so I recently ive downloaded a few free fx vsts, and I was wondering if anybody new how to get them showing up in cubase so that I can use them. I have read instructions such as drag the files into your steinberg Vsts file but on my computer I do not have this file, however there is a file called VSTs preset and ive dragged the files in there but they still do not show up in my cubase software, so does anybody have any advice?

You need to install and/put your vsts into any folder on your computer, preferably somewhat structured for future use. Then you need to tell Cubase where to look for these.

Go to plugin devices - plugin information - vst plugins - vst 2.x paths - and choose the directory where you installed them. Should work like this! If you're still having problems let us know

P. S ah yes, I knew I had answered to this thread before, but thought something had gone wrong, until I found the other post.
