Why are none of my VSTs showing up in FL Studio

Just got FL Studio..Ive watched videos and still cant get my current plugins to show up. I originally had issues installing these plugins and had to use winRAR to install them. Does this have anything to do with that?
 
if you have installed the vst correctly and fl studio cant find the vst when it scans, copy and paste the .dll file into the vst section in fl studio.(eg. fruitychorus.dll) then scan again. if that doesn't work check that it is scanning the right place, you do this by going to options in the tab at the top of fl, then file setting add the foulder where your vsts are stored and search again.

Make sure your plug ins are installed correctly. Also, store your plug ins in a separate folder if I where you. Rescan the vsts in the FL settings.

It was a bit confusing at first, but once you understand how FL works, you'll be good to go. Hope this helps!
