I need help figuring out why certain presets on my sylenth1 can't or won't play 2 notes (chords) at the same time. If anyone has an idea on how to fix please let me know! thanks

You need to look for a setting called polyphony and turn it on.

Or rather turn it up from 1, to which it's probably set. This directly means the amount of simultaneous notes that can be played (more poly = more CPU consumption as well).
