LMAO!!! So very true!! Can't say 10 I can list, but I'll say:

Nexus is beast
Independence is nice but very heavy on CPU (bad flaw)
Gladiator is a great one (slept on, very good VST)
Miroslav Philharmonik

I'm stilll debating on buying MOTU MX-4 or Ethno Instrument... not sure how these are.. wish I knew someone I could try it through first.. already felt I got burnt with somewhat of a wack package with the transition from Colossus to Goliath.. but to each their own...

Don't have 10 that I would consider the "best", but here's the ones I favor in order:
1. Sylenth1
2. True Piano
3. Edirol Orchestral
4. Sytrus
5. Toxic III
Have more, but rarely use them. They come with FL Studio XXL
Only using 2 for mixing/effects:
1. iZotope Ozone 4 (Bought it about an hour ago)
2. FL Studio's effects

One thing about this thread. PLEASE don't go on rapid share or some BitTorrent site. Demo and buy the product to support the guys who work endlessly to bring us these great products. The more you buy and show support, the better the next versions get. I have more that I have on demo but haven't bought yet and some of these list give great ideas of VST's to look into. Thanks

Goliath is a little over rated. I bought it expecting it to be like my go to instrument but it turns out it is only good for a few sounds. It is definitely a good thing to have though as some of the sounds are excellent. It is really good quality and seems to come in handy when you don't have anything else to fit.

The samples are very resource hungry so I find myself exporting to wav or freezing quite often.

Logic Studio
Komplete 5 (Kontakt 3, Akoustik Piano mostly)
Sample Tank ?(got the box but still sealed)
Maschine ?(not using much right now)

Top 10 VSTs and plugins

1. Izotope Ozone 4
2. T-Racks
3. Purity
4. Tone2 Gladiator 2
5. ReWire (the best plugin period)

6. Bome Keyboard Emulator
7. Maelstrom by Propellerhead
8. NNXT
9. Ogun
10. Autogun

I noticed the majority of people put "Albino 3" as one of their top 10. Why? I've found free plugins better than Albino. If anything, Albino's got hella presets, which is cool for lazy bastards like me, but I find most of them sound very..."thin" (even after eqing/adding effects etc).

I gotta say... I must be the only person in the world that does not care much for Massive. I can't say I've used it for a single track thus far. Am I missing something? What are some of its more popular sounds people like it for?
