String Cyborgs - a free bundle of three synth-like instruments based on a collection of processed cello and double bass samples. They work in the free Plogue Sforzando plugin and use these processed samples as oscillators in a synthesizer architecture which also includes high-pass and low-pass filters, up to five unison voices with width and detune, three LFOs etc. They are capable of very nice and organic bass, string, pad etc. sounds. There's even a closed hi-hat presets.
