Which note are instrument plays on the same key

Making my beats always sound great. But when it comes the melody or adding more sound. It starts to play off key. Any suggestions??

What VSTs do you use? It would be in your best interest to get a music theory course.

I have nexus and dsk vst. Dsk one is orchestrated and nexus is nexus

What do you mean by "it starts to play off key"? Aren't you the one playing/inputting the notes? I mean, the obvious (snarky) answer is "play the right notes", but it feels like I'm not understanding the actual problem here...

ya, play in key. Pick a key and play in key haha...If you're playing out of key, play in key. You understand what keys are, or at least what the word means. There are 8 (well technically 7) notes that you can pick from in any key. Pick from those notes for a start.
