nexus 2 install trouble

Ok, so I got nexus2 for christmas and have been trying to install it since. I download it and I followed to instructions, and it worked, once. Then the next time i opened FL Studio 12, It crashed fl studio, and i followed the instructions online now it says that it cannot find the plugin.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Does anyone know why tf this is so much more complicated to install than other tools?

Run setup.
Put content folder in vst directory.
Since you use fl studio you don't really have a bitbridging issue since imageline made each version support both bits.
