How to build sounds from the moog??

I pretty much have no idea how to sculpt sounds. I know what a filter is, and that is about it. Other than that I just use presets and mess around with pretty much every dial and try to find anything. But lately I've been wanting to imitate some of those p-funk synths that Waajeed, Sa Ra, and the Bugz in the Attic have been using. Not just their bass, but those funky high pitched twingy noises they have that were started in the p-funk era.

So does anyone know anyone sites or books that will give me a crash course in developing my own sounds, specifically for the moog?

Neither are specifically for the Moog(s), but given that a Minimoog has a pretty standard signal path for a subtractive synth, most of this should apply more or less.
