updating macbook and sylenth

I havnt updating my system since 2014. I am currently using Os 10.9.2 Mavericks. I want to update to the latest OS but a producer friend said it will stop some of my plugins on logic pro 9 from working. I have a huge library of over 20 plugins. Will updating affect my logic pro at all.

And also. Is there a way to save downloaded Sylenth banks to sylenth so I dont have to load them each time i want to use it.
 
You can use Live 32 but I would recommend upgrading to Logic Pro X and if you purchased your plugins then you should have no issue updating them as well. Logic Pro 9 uses mostly 32 bit and the newer OS X are now using 64bit, Logic Pro X runs better IMO as I use to use Logic Pro 9.
