Recommended DAW for a non-tech person

Hi everyone,

I am working remotely with a singer who is now supposed to record her vocals.
She only needs a software that record her voice in a decent resolution (16/44.1 at least) while playing the instrumental part.
She is not into audio recording and tech, so I cannot recommend her a complex DAW like Logic, Cubase or Pro Tools.
She doesn't own a Mac so Garageband is unfortunately not an option.
Do you know of any software for PC only, free or at a cheap price, that is easy to use and that could suit the task?
Thanks in advance!

The truth? Any of them. You'll have to learn how to use them properly. My advice is: get the demo of some of them, and start studying, read the manual, etc. Then you decide which one fit best with your style.

Logic X defaults to a simple setup. You'd actually have to manually go in the settings to enable the complex features. I think its a great start.
