Hi!
I'm totally new to production, I come from a singing background and now trying to mess around in Ableton (you can explain it to me in a different software too)
I was wondering how to achieve a voice effect like in this song: soundcloud.com/pcmus/fade-away
It sounds like they are using some sort of auto-tune or vocoder, but I'm not sure. I want it to sound kinda "synthetic", if you know what i mean.
Do you guys know how to get such a result with VSTs or something like that? As I said, I'm totally new so it would be awesome if you could elaborate a bit on the technique.
