Nah, it's like a bike with training wheels on. Good for learning, but if I could only have 1 synth ever I'd pick one with a lot more features.

Yeah, Syntorial is really cool.

I've been talking with Syntorial's developer about maybe making a dedicated controller for the included VST synth, "Primer":



Seems like it wouldn't be that hard to make a custom MIDI controller for.
With a little bit of MAX/MSP scripting, the integration would be great.
What do you guys think?
I think that if I could make a custom controller integrated directly with it, it'd be an amazing desert island synth.

Assuming I keep the DAW it would definitely be Komplete. Too many things to ever run out of new ideas....

I would take Cubase 7.5 with me. Not much use for anything else without the DAW. I understand the paradox there because only the DAW itself isn't much use either without the hardware.. But still!

If I were to exclude the DAW like mentioned before I would take.. the all-mighty Zebra.
