Need some Midi help, please.....................

I are not an expert, by no means. So please, excuse if I sound a bit remedial. I am looking for a midi sequencer or a combination of sequencer and a plugin that can do their following:

Let me import a midi
Let me load a soundfont of more than 128 instruments (GS or XG)
Let me add reverb, bass and treble to each channel, individually, volume/pan, of course
Let me render that midi to a wav, using the specified soundfont/instruments and effects

I am not planning to do any mixing from recording, so I probably don't need something like Protools. Would cakewalk accomplish this? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Most DAWs will do this: REAPER is a good shout because of it's long free demo period and minimal cost. It's a great DAW, if a bit lacking in inbuilt instruments.

Plogue sforzando is a very nice free VST soundfont player you should look into once you have a DAW
