My Sine Wave seems square?

Hello, n00b producer inbound...

So I have been trying to learn Phase Alignment, following a YouTube tutorial, I decided to use my own .wav file to try it, and upon super zooming, it's a square wave instead of a more circular, sine wave, I use a Zoom H1 to record audio... Anyone know whether phase alignment check is possible on square waves?

Well you're still aligning phase, aren't you? It doesn't really matter, you'll rarely come across perfect sines in the real world anyway...
