Midi keyboard on DAW not recording properly

OK i have a m audio 61 es brand new all up to date drivers working fine with reason 5 but for some reason when i try use it to play songs in fl studio but it plays the first note i hit and stretches it out a bar then any other notes i played are all bunched up at the start super small? its extremely confusing as to why it does this, because its my first post to, i cant link you the pic of what i mean but i will in the comments,

if you look really closely at the start theres tiny little notes there:S and that long chord was one hit :S

Have you updated all the drivers for your controller? What are your recording settings?
