midi channels in REAPER

hey, i have a question which seems simple, but i really cant find the answer
i have a vsti, say kontakt, where i have 2 instruments chosen - one on midi channel 1, other on midi channel 2

is it possible in reaper that i will send one channel to one track, and second channel to second track without uploading next instance of kontakt?

Not entirely sure how kontakt works because I can't afford it, but I would guess press the I/O button to show routing for the track, set the number of channels to 4, then add a send from channels 3/4 on the kontakt track to channels 1/2 on a new track. You might have to fiddle about with the output settings on the second kontakt instrument to get it to come out of channels 3/4 though.
 
what i used to do the last time i used reaper is open the fx list then drag kontakt from the list to the channels area and it will ask you to open 1 input or all, select all then just delete the ones you dont want afterwards so each channel on kontakt has its own channel in reaper
