Logic Bus - Sidechain Latency

Hey,

I have a bus for my main synth where 3 tracks go in. If I link this bus to my sidechain bus, the whole thing starts to lag weird.
Here's a short video with my problem:

I also tried to use a compressor instead of LFOTool for my sidechain bus, but that makes no difference.
I also had problems with that on Ableton, so I don't think it's a Logic thing.

Has anyone a solution for this?

That's not latency.

What are you using the sidechain for? It sounds an awful lot like you're using the output of that channel to apply ducking on that channel, which kind of defeats the object of a sidechain.

I'm using LFOTool on the "sidechain" bus to reduce the volume for a short time on every beat. It's not sidechaining because the kickdrum isn't triggered like in a compressor for example, but I still call it sidechain.

It's used for all tracks which are active when the kickdrum plays.

The problem is also there when I use LFOTool directly on the synth bus.

That doesn't make a huge amount of sense.

What is it you're trying to achieve, that you need to send the output of that channel to a bus you call sidechain but which isn't a sidechain?
