How to layer drums on one pad in Logic Pro 9

Hey guys,

is there a way for me to layer kick drums/snares/hihats on ONE pad in logic? similar to how u can layer drums on one pad ableton drum rack. or nnxt for Reason

nope, that's what makes ableton so dope

you're going to have to use/get NI battery or use the exs24 sampler that comes with logic

You can do that in logic with exs24 which is the bundled sampler. Just import the samples into unique zones and set the trigger key to the same pitch (ie. c-1).

It's quite easy and not very different than ableton. I do, however, prefer to use ni battery.

You could use multiple tracks of Ultrabeat. To record them all at once, just record enable each track. I know you have LP9, but Track Stacks in LPX is useful for things like this.
