Guitar Rig 5 (preset abbreviation)

I am a beginner when working with guitar amps and effects and I was wondering what the MC abbreviation stands for in several of the presets on Guitar Rig 5. I ask this because there are pairs of presets with identical titles except for the MC abbreviation.

I think it simply means "Matched Cabinet" - ie. the preset is using an amp with its intended cabinet.

It simply means that your "Marshalls" and "Voxes" come paired with their respective "Marshall" and "Vox" cabinets - you can use any cab you want, of course. Maybe they're supposed to be the the best-suited ones, by someone's definition.

A Marshall head driving a Marshall quad box will give a different sound to a Marshall head driving a Fender twin cabinet, as much because the amplifier will be loaded differently by the two cabinets as the differences in cabinet resonance, driver resonance and the amount of air being moved (the quad box will be moving twice as much air as the twin cabinet)
