I've been up to my ears in threads on this and various Mac forums trying to figure out the workaround that has to exist for my problem because it sounds so simple:
I need a cello solo and at present I only have access to synthetic instruments. I can get a marvelous synth cello on Garageband for iPad but cannot get a cello solo on the Mac where the rest of the song is. When I try to import the file from the iPad to the Mac it simply reverts back to basic Smart Strings and sounds terrible. I have had no luck with downloading cello solos from the internet (a post for another time) so I wanted to know if anyone had figured out how to actually get the iPad sound to the Mac project, or knew of a tutorial that did such, because everything I have found so far keeps me stuck on the iPad.
