Hey guys,
So I'm mixing with FL Studio and I need to place a Limiter on my bass channel. The problem is that when I place my limiter on the bass channel, for some reason the kick is being limited an super compressed. I checked to see if there was any unintentional routing in my mixer and my sampler but the kick wasn't being routed to anything except another seperate channel.
Experimenting with this problem, I went to place my limiter on an empty channel, and still it seems that the limiter is affecting my kick. Worst of all, My limiters threshold hasn't even been brought down-.-
I have a bunch of other instruments and effects going through other random channels for processing...but they aren't being affected. And this ONLY happens when I place a limiter on any channel and ONLY happens to my kick. Any other effect I add such as a compressor to any channel does not effect anything except that channel.
